DEMO REEL:
ANNIHILATION PARTY
Duration: 2 week
Annihilation Party is a detective visual novel game created for Acerola Jam 0. You play as a detective searching for ‘aberrants’: people infected with a mind virus that hides in their unconscious mind. The aberrant virus will fully bloom by New Years, giving you 31 days to get close to the suspect, gain a measure of their daily activities and look for inconsistencies in their behavior.
I went in a lot of new directions for this one — hand-drawn art style, no character controller, heavy emphasis on dialogue and story. I created all the programming, art, dialogue, and music for this game.
DEMON DINER
Duration: 1 week
Demon Diner is a horror/cooking game created for Scream Jam 2023. With only one week to create this technical game, I used my previous project experience to organize tasks with my teammates. I programmed the game using the Godot engine and implemented the 3D models and animations.
We ranked 15th place overall in the competition, with a 1st place ranking in aesthetics and 6th place in sound design.
WHEELS OF RAGE
Duration: 3 days
Wheels of Rage is a beat-em-up created for the GMTK 2023 Game Jam. With the theme of “role-reversal,” my brother and I chose to make a game based on the iconic car-destroying minigame from Street Fighter wherein the cars fight back.
We created the game in GameMaker, and chose to base the mechanics around grabbing, throwing, and ramming into enemies as a car. The resulting game, while short, feels crunchy and great to play.
DEMONS ATE MY NEIGHBORS
Duration: 2 years
Demons Ate My Neighbors is a twin-stick co-op shoot-em-up based in the 80s around the adventures of April and Joey as they fight off demons from hell with holy-water squirt guns.
I programmed behaviors for a variety of enemies, implemented character weapons and abilities, and created some level designs for the game. Our team held daily scrum sessions to divide up tasks, handle roadblocks and discuss the game’s design. We made the game in Unity3D, with care given to make the game appear like a classic top-down 2D title, with modern lighting and effects.
I worked on this project under Tuned-Out Games and alongside industry professionals behind games like ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove, Sonic Mania, and Pokemon TCG Live.

AUTA
Duration: 1 year
Auta was a passion project which, unfortunately, did not release. However, I learned a lot about game design and team management through my work on it.
I first programmed the game in GameMaker before switching to Unity2D, and created all the in-game graphics. The game was a Metroidvania with a combo-based combat system and an “orb” move allowed the player to move expressively through the terrain.
Star vs. the Game
Duration: 2 years
Star vs. the Game is a fan-game based around the popular Disney show Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
I based the gameplay around the dichotomy of playing as both a brawler and a long-range fighter at the same time. By using both characters’ skills, players can handle groups of enemies all at once, and travel through both top-down and 2D platformer type stages. I programmed the game in GameMaker, and created the majority of the ingame graphics and animations!
U-CHEF-O
Duration: 1 week
U-CHEF-O is a physics-based cooking game I created for GameMaker’s OperaGX game jam. The game revolves around using a UFO’s tractor beam to pick up ingredients and stack them into sandwiches, while managing multiple orders at once and random events that can mess up the kitchen.
Fun fact, the idea for this game came to me in a dream where I imagined a UFO using a tractor beam to pick up a salt shaker.
